Alice Pollenia is one of the main characters in Baby Lamb & Friends.
Appearance
Originally, Alice was a purple caterpillar with blue eyes and yellow antennae. She also wore red boots on all 8 of her legs and a green collar.
Now she was given a complete redesign, now being a pink fly with white wings, a yellow spot on her stomach, light pink hands, and visible legs with red boots (only now she has 2 legs instead of eight). Apart from her color, however, her face remains untouched except her eyes appear bigger. The reason for her drastic change was revealed in "I Can Make a Change: Part 2".
Personality
Alice is a very perky girl, and sometimes can be sassy. She's not afraid to speak the truth, and she can sometimes be easily irritated when people do not listen to her. One thing that triggers her is when people call her adorable or cute and prefers to be called scary. She can also be capable of fighting when necessary. But she is willing to help out her friends whenever they're in trouble.
Trivia
- Alice was originally based on a Leapfrog toy caterpillar named Alphabet Pal. In fact, she was originally referred to as Alphabet Pal (then referred to her initials as "A.P."). But Simon A. reworked on the character in order to make her more original, thus changing her design and her name.
- It was speculated that Alice was related to Belle, but Simon A. confirmed that the two characters are not related but rather very close friends.
- It was the work of Trumpy the Gnome in the episode "I Can Make a Change: Part 2", who magically turned Alice from a caterpillar to what she is now. However she only becomes this at night until she resisted The CEO of LeapFrog's wrath and her desire to be new made the spell last permanently. That is how Alice got redesigned.
- Though not depicted in an episode yet, Alice's antennae actually have the ability to glow manually.
- Her last name was originally "Pennington" but Simon has long hated that name so instead, he decided to change her last name to "Pollenia" (which is an actual species of fly).
- After Simon casted Marisa the Gem Fox as Alice, she incorporated a lot of her own personality into the character, thus making her stand out a lot more.
